COOKIES

What are cookies?

Cookies are text strings that websites visited by users (so-called “publishers” or “first-party cookies”) or other websites or web servers (so-called “third-party cookies”) place and store on the user's terminal device to be sent back to the same websites upon subsequent visits.

What are they used for?

Cookies serve various purposes: performing IT authentications, session monitoring, storing information about specific configurations of users accessing the server, saving preferences, or facilitating the use of online content, such as keeping track of items in a shopping cart or information for filling out a web form. Cookies can also be used to profile users, observing their behaviors to send targeted advertisements, measure the effectiveness of advertising messages, and implement commercial strategies accordingly. In this case, they are referred to as profiling cookies.

What are technical cookies?

Technical cookies are those required to browse or provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for other purposes and are usually installed directly by the website owner.

Without these cookies, some operations could not be completed or would be more complex and/or less secure.

Are analytical cookies considered technical cookies?

Analytical cookies can be considered technical cookies if used directly by the website owner to optimize the site, collecting aggregated statistical information about the number of users and how they visit the site.

However, if such statistical analyses are performed by third parties, user data must be minimized beforehand and not combined with other analyses or shared with additional third parties. Under these conditions, the same rules regarding information and consent apply to analytical cookies as they do to technical cookies.

This site uses third-party cookies for:

  1. Monitoring visits and obtaining statistics on user activity on the site
    • Google Analytics
Google Analytics is used to monitor visits and obtain aggregated statistics about site activity. We do not know your identifier and have no ability to identify the user visiting the site. Facebook identifies the user with its own IDs to personalize advertising and profile the user. These IDs are associated with the user's Facebook profile (if active) and, as a result of browsing our website, targeted ads may appear on Facebook and Instagram.
In practice, while browsing our website, Facebook installs a cookie on your hard drive, and subsequently, when you visit Facebook or Instagram, these platforms will search for the cookie to direct ads according to the instructions provided by it.
Data processing is entirely managed by Facebook, and we have no way of identifying the user.
